Apparently, it is said that jobs such as Nursing, teaching and waitress are among the occupations that economists call “pink-collared jobs,” or professions long dominated by women.
Other occupations where women are highly concentrated include human resources manager, social worker, and counselor.

Despite- the growing trend of an increasing demand for nurses, it’s still a profession that is largely dominated by women.
Though men are in no way barred from entering this line of work, there are various obstacles they face when pursuing this predominantly female field.
2. School Teachers
Teaching is an overwhelmingly female profession, and in fact has become more so over time. More than three-quarters of all teachers in Grade R through high school are women, according to Education Department data, up from about two-thirds three decades ago.
The disparity is most pronounced in elementary and middle schools, where more than 80 percent of teachers are women.
